Initially my Flipper was not interested in the knotted bone, he wanted to bury it in the garden! The second bone I soaked for a few minutes in hot water, at which point the dog was interested, and he devoured it in a few minutes and finally he drank the water I used to heat the bone. Size 16cm is perfect for an Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd (35kg dogs).

Our Bernese Puppy (10 weeks) was immediately fond of these bones. He’s even chewing on one as I write this review. We started with the thinner chew sticks. In contrast to the thinner chew, you can leave your dog without too much direct supervision over a number of days with no direct choking danger, which has us a little worried with the chewing sticks. After dinner he always jumps on his pillow to chew and gnaw on it. He is very happy with it for the time being. Wonderful!

These bones are perfect and come in different sizes so they are great larger dogs. I am so pleased that I have found a snack which my Bernese Mountain dog has not eaten within seconds. It’s great that someone has remembered that big dogs like snacks and toys as well. We are going to order more. The 36cm size is just right for my dog.
